Melissa Clará is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst born in El Salvador and raised in New York. Melissa earned her master’s degree in Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and became certified as a Behavior Analyst in 2022.

Melissa has worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the past 8 years in multiple settings, including day programs, group homes, clinics, schools, and the community. Melissa started her career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019 as a Registered Behavior Technician.

Melissa is passionate about naturalistic teaching or NET and finding creative ways to use clients’ interests to teach new skills. Melissa enjoys working closely with the families she serves to provide guidance and support. Melissa has worked with Spanish-speaking families in the states of Georgia, Missouri, and South Dakota.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, going for walks, watching series, and reading ABA literature to expand her knowledge.
